Hello and welcome to the Strictly Streisand website. The home of premier U.K. Barbra Streisand tribute, Christina Simone.

I first became interested in Streisand as a young girl just starting out professionally in the business,   after watching Funny Girl and thinking that I had a little in common with Fanny Brice.  I instantly became a fan of Streisand and decided that I would love to play Brice on stage some day.

Whilst singing professionally, (for further details please refer to the page Christina Simone) people always made a connection between me and Streisand (partly the nose, I would imagine) and before long,  I found myself adding Streisand classics to my repertoire after numerous requests for me to cover her hits.  

No complaints from me, of course: I love to sing the songs of my idol.  

Whilst I know that there can only ever be one Barbra Streisand, I have put everything that I have into emulating one of the greatest musical icons of our time or, indeed, any time.

I hope that my show can bring the essence of Streisand to every venue that I play.   The work that I put into my performances can only be described as a true labour of love.
